Dasu (also spelled Dassu) is an important town in Pakistan. It's the main town for the Upper Kohistan District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Imagine it as the central hub for that area!
Dasu is located near the famous Indus River. In 1998, about 137,519 people lived there. The town is divided into smaller areas called "union councils."
Dasu's Weather and Climate
Dasu has a mild and generally warm climate. This type of weather is called a humid subtropical climate. It means the area gets a good amount of rain throughout the year.
