Playing in the NHL
Creighton joined the Boston Bruins in the 1948-49 NHL season. He played as a forward, scoring goals and helping his team. Over his career, he played for several well-known NHL teams.
He also played for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Later, he joined the Chicago Black Hawks. His final NHL team was the New York Rangers. Creighton left the NHL after the 1959-60 season.
