His shows often have a funny, dream-like style called surreal humour.
In 2010, Willis created a new TV pilot for Adult Swim. It was called Cheyenne Cinnamon and the Fantabulous Unicorn of Sugar Town Candy Fudge. The pilot aired on March 29, 2010. However, it was not chosen to become a full TV series. In 2011, Willis also helped write an episode of Family Guy called "New Kidney in Town".
