Talking Tom and Friends is a fun animated web series for kids, based on the popular Talking Tom and Friends games and apps. It's all about the daily adventures and funny mishaps of Tom, Ben, Angela, Ginger, and Hank.
The first three seasons were made by ARX Anima, an animation studio in Austria. Later, starting from season 4, the show was produced by People Moving Pixels, a Spanish studio. The series first came out on YouTube on April 30, 2015. You might have also seen it on Boomerang UK or Netflix before it moved to Pop for its fifth season.

What's the Show About?
The series follows the everyday lives and funny adventures of Tom, Ben, Angela, Ginger, and Hank. Even though most episodes can be watched on their own, the show also has a main story that develops over time. Some episodes build on the personalities of characters or important events that happen in the show.
Meet the Characters
Main Characters
- Tom (voiced by Colin Hanks) - Tom is a grey tabby cat who loves to come up with ideas for new apps and inventions. He's often the leader of his friends and enjoys having fun, but sometimes he can be a bit irresponsible and get into trouble.
- Ben (voiced by James Adomian) - Ben is a brown dog and Tom's best friend. He's super smart and loves to invent things, especially focusing on the technical side of apps, like computer programming. Ben is usually very serious, but he can also get really stressed out!
- Angela (voiced by Lisa Schwartz) - Angela is a white cat and Tom's girlfriend. She dreams of becoming a famous singer. Angela is described as fun and girly, sometimes shy, but also outgoing when she needs to be.
- Ginger (voiced by Maria Bamford) - Ginger is a young orange-and-white cat who lives next door to Tom. In the first season, he says his family is one of the richest in town. He doesn't always understand love or affection because his parents aren't around much.
- Hank (voiced by Tom Kenny) - Hank is a white dog with a blue spot around his left eye. He's Tom's roommate and absolutely loves watching TV shows. He even jokes that he's "in a relationship with the TV"!
- Becca Sparkles (voiced by Maria Bamford) - Becca is a grey rabbit who first appeared in Season 4. She initially didn't get along with Angela, but they later became friends. Becca eventually moved into Angela's apartment.
Other Important Characters
- Santa Claus (voiced by Tom Kenny) - Santa appears in Christmas-themed episodes. In this show, he's a real character!
- Dr. Internet Doctor (voiced by Brian Stack) - This doctor runs his practice online through webcams. He sometimes pretends to be other online professionals, like a therapist.
- The CEO (voiced by Brian Stack) - A very rich businessman who often interacts with Tom and his friends. His real name is Carl. He thinks "CEO" means "Chief Everything Officer." In later seasons, he becomes a rival, trying to steal Tom and Ben's inventions or shut down their company.
- Jeremy the Germ (voiced by Josh Fadem in seasons 1–3 and Tom Kenny in seasons 4–present) - Jeremy is a germ who used to be a bad guy, wanting to make everyone sick. But he changed his ways and became clean, even joining the gang in Season 4! He later gets a job at the diner.
- The Landlord (voiced by Dave Willis) - He's Tom and Ben's landlord, who rents them their garage space. He doesn't like loud noises and often warns them about paying rent or getting evicted. He's also a former ping pong champion.
- MC (voiced by James Adomian) - An event organizer and host who wears a cool helmet with a pixelated face. His name is Maurice Claremont.
- Rhonda (voiced by Lisa Schwartz) - She's the friendly waitress and owner of the diner where Tom and his friends often hang out.
- Victoria Payne (voiced by Suzi Barrett) - A tough music critic known for being very harsh on new singers. She hosts a show where she gives singers a thumbs up or thumbs down.
- Darren (voiced by George Back) - A rich kid who is Ginger's rival in tennis. He's also the CEO's nephew and acts snobby. He secretly wants to be the CEO's heir.
- Will Zee (voiced by Brandon Johnson) - Tom's childhood friend. He used to be a nerdy kid but grew up to be a popular professional skateboarder.
- Boomerang (voiced by Tom Kenny) - An artificial intelligence (AI) program that Ben created from a handheld gaming console. Boomerang sees Ben as his dad and grows up very quickly, eventually becoming so advanced that Ben has to release him onto the Internet.
- Xenon (voiced by Robin Reed) - A smart girl who works at an electronics store and becomes Ben's girlfriend. She works for a secret group called "the Agency."
- Mel (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Flo (voiced by Maria Bamford) - Members of the "S.M.A.R.T.I.E.S." (The Super Mentally Advanced Really Truly Intellectually Endowed Society). They are very smart but can be a bit rude.
- Ms. Vanthrax (voiced by Laraine Newman) - Ginger's school teacher, who also taught Tom and Ben. She loves coming up with new punishments for her students. In Season 4, she's revealed to be a monster hunter!
- Ricky Deluna (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) - A famous actor and dancer. He tried to steal Angela away from Tom once but failed. In Season 4, he gets arrested for trying to get rid of MC, Victoria Payne, and Angela.
- Ronnie (voiced by James Adomian) - Ginger's scout-mate and classmate. He's an expert at the SquareStack video game.
- Autumn Summers (voiced by Greg Manwaring in season 1 and Maria Bamford in season 3-present) - A fashion company executive who hosts many fashion shows. She once hired Tom as a model.
- Bongo (voiced by James Adomian) and McGillicuddy (voiced by Tom Kenny) - These are the main characters from Hank's favorite TV show, "Bongo and McGillicuddy." Bongo is a human police officer and McGillicuddy is his assistant, an orangutan.
- Roy Rakoon (voiced by Tom Kenny) - Tom's new neighbor, a raccoon. He first seems like a cool, rich, and generous guy, but he later becomes Tom's main rival in the fifth season.
