David Franck Charvet (born May 15, 1972) is a talented French singer, actor, model, and television personality. He is well-known for his roles in popular TV shows like Baywatch and Melrose Place.

Early Life and Background
David Charvet was born and grew up in Lyon, France. His mother is Christiane Charvet Haddad, and his father is Paul Guez, a businessman who started the Sasson jeans brand in the 1980s. David was raised in a Jewish family.
In the early 1990s, David won a special lottery that allowed him to get a green card to live and work in the United States. Later, in 1999, he decided to take a break from acting to focus on his music career. For a while, he lived in France, where he performed as a singer across Europe.
Acting Career Highlights
David Charvet got his first big acting role in 1992 on the American TV show Baywatch. He played the character Matt Brody. He was on Baywatch for three full seasons, leaving the show in 1995.
After Baywatch, he joined the cast of Melrose Place from 1996 to 1998, playing the character Craig Field. ..... In 1999, he decided to focus completely on his music.
David returned to acting in 2006 for a movie called Prisoners of the Sun, which was released in 2013. He also played an athlete named Cameron Day in the sports comedy-drama film Green Flash in 2008. His first song, "Should I Leave," was a hit in both French and English. It reached number 3 in France and also became popular in Belgium and Sweden. Another bilingual hit, "Jusqu'au bout"/"Leap of Faith," reached number 6 in France. His song "Apprendre à aimer"/"Teach Me How to Love" made it into the Top 20 in France and was also a hit in Belgium, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. David Charvet has sold over 2.5 million albums worldwide.
Interests and causes
In June 2010, David Charvet joined The Blue Seals. This is a non-profit group that helps respond quickly to environmental problems. They focus on protecting the ocean. David is also a member of their board of directors.
The group worked to raise awareness about the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. They helped French company Ecoceane's ships, which are designed to collect waste and oil from the water, take part in the cleanup efforts.
Personal Life and Family
David Charvet met actress Pamela Anderson while working on Baywatch, and they dated from 1992 to 1994.
David married Brooke Burke on August 12, 2011. Brooke decided to use her husband's last name and became known as Brooke Burke-Charvet. They have two children together: a daughter named Heaven (born in 2007) and a son named Shaya (born in 2008). They are raising their children in the Jewish faith. Brooke also has two daughters from her previous marriage. In April 2018, David and Brooke announced they were getting a divorce, which was finalized in March 2020.
