David Herman (born February 20, 1967) is an American actor and comedian. You might not recognize his face, but you have almost certainly heard his voice! He is famous for playing characters in animated shows like Futurama, Bob's Burgers, and King of the Hill.
Herman was also one of the original cast members of the comedy show MADtv. He is well-known for his role as the nerdy Michael Bolton in the popular movie Office Space.

Early Life and Education
David Herman was born in New York City and grew up in the Washington Heights neighborhood. He was interested in acting from a young age.
He attended the famous Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, graduating in 1985. After high school, he studied acting at the State University of New York at Purchase.
Acting Career
Herman has had a long career in both live-action movies and television, as well as voice acting for cartoons and video games.
Live-Action Roles
MADtv
In 1995, Herman became one of the first cast members of the sketch comedy show MADtv. On the show, he played many funny characters. He was also great at impersonating famous people, including:

One of Herman's most famous movie roles was in the 1999 comedy Office Space. He played Michael Bolton, a quiet office worker who loves rap music. A running joke in the movie is that he shares his name with the famous singer Michael Bolton, which he dislikes.
Herman also appeared in other movies, such as Dude, Where's My Car? and another film by Office Space director Mike Judge called Idiocracy.
