David Deaundra Rocker was born on March 12, 1969. He is a former American football player and coach. David played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Los Angeles Rams for four seasons. He also coached college football at Point University.

David Rocker's Football Journey
David Rocker was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He went to high school at South Atlanta High School. After high school, he played college football at Auburn University.
College Football Success
While at Auburn, David was a very talented player. In 1990, he was named a Consensus All-American. This means he was recognized as one of the best college football players in the country. He was also a First-team All-SEC player twice, in 1989 and 1990. The SEC is a very strong college football conference.
Playing in the NFL
In 1991, David was chosen by the Houston Oilers in the fourth round of the 1991 NFL draft. This was a big step for him to play professional football. He then played for the Los Angeles Rams from 1991 to 1994. He was a defensive tackle, a position that helps stop the other team's offense.
Coaching Career
After his playing career, David Rocker became a football coach. He was the head football coach at Point University in West Point, Georgia. He coached the Point Skyhawks team for two seasons, from 2013 to 2014.
Family Life
David Rocker is married to Connie Rocker. His older brother, Tracy Rocker, also played professional football. David's nephew, Kumar Rocker, is a baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers.
