David Deaundra Rocker was born on March 12, 1969. He is a former American football player and coach. David played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Los Angeles Rams for four seasons, from 1991 to 1994.
David was chosen by the Houston Oilers in the fourth round of the 1991 NFL draft. Later in his career, he coached college football. He was the head coach for Point University in West Point, Georgia, from 2013 to 2014. David grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and played college football at Auburn University.

Playing in College
David Rocker went to South Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Georgia. After high school, he played college football for the Auburn Tigers. He was a very talented player in college.
In 1990, he was named a Consensus All-American. This means he was recognized as one of the best college football players in the country that year. He was also a two-time First-team All-SEC player in 1989 and 1990. The SEC is a major college sports conference.
Playing in the NFL
In 1991, David Rocker was picked in the 1991 NFL draft. The Houston Oilers chose him in the fourth round. He played as a defensive tackle, which is a position on the defense. Defensive tackles try to stop the other team's offense, especially their running plays.
