Dayton is a suburb found in Perth, Western Australia. It is part of the City of Swan. Dayton was officially created in May 2011. It got its name from Walter Warner Day. He was an important person who helped start the cattle and wine businesses in the Swan area a long time ago.
Dayton is located in an area that is growing quickly. It has clear boundaries around it. These include Lord Street, Harrow Street, and Malvern Street. Also, Reid Highway and the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline help mark its edges.
