Early Life and Music Beginnings
Lidell Williams, known as Dazzie Dee, was born on November 30, 1971. He grew up in Los Angeles, California. He finished high school in 1989.
When he was 14, he met famous music producers Dr. Dre and Sir Jinx. They helped him start his music journey. His first music project, an EP called Turn It Loose, was produced by them.
Joining Lench Mob Records
Dazzie Dee was one of the first members of Lench Mob Records. This record label was started by the famous rapper Ice Cube. Other artists like Yo-Yo and K-Dee were also part of this group.
Dazzie Dee was known as Big "Saccs" during this time. He was a G-funk rapper. G-funk is a style of hip hop music.
Solo Career and Classic Albums
Dazzie Dee decided to leave Lench Mob Records to make his own music. He wanted to create his first solo album. This album was called Where's My Receipt?. It was released in 1995.
He later re-released the album in 1996. The new version was titled The Re-Birth. This album featured other artists like Ice Cube and Coolio. Many people consider The Re-Birth a classic West Coast hip hop album.
