De'Audra Dix (born March 3, 1984) is a former professional American football player. He played as a defensive back, which is a player who tries to stop the other team from catching passes. He was signed by the Montreal Alouettes in 2009. This means he joined the team without being chosen in the main draft.
Before playing professionally, De'Audra Dix played college football for the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls. In 2008, during his final year at Johnson C. Playing for the Montreal Alouettes
De'Audra Dix started his professional career with the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League (CFL). On September 13, 2009, he made his first career interception. This happened in a game against the BC Lions, which the Alouettes won 28–24. He was part of the Alouettes teams that won the Grey Cup (the CFL championship) in 2009 and 2010.
Time with the Tampa Bay Storm
After playing in the CFL, Dix joined the Tampa Bay Storm in the Arena Football League (AFL) for the 2013 season. The Arena Football League is a type of indoor football played on a smaller field.
