Dermal Bram "Dee" Brown (born March 27, 1978) is a former American professional baseball player. He was an outfielder who played for teams like the Kansas City Royals and Oakland Athletics in Major League Baseball (MLB). He also played in Japan for the Saitama Seibu Lions.

Dee Brown's Baseball Journey
Dee Brown grew up in Marlboro, New York. He went to Marlboro Central High School. There, he was a star in both baseball and football.
High School Sports Star
In high school football, Dee was amazing. He ran for the second-most yards in New York high school history. He also scored 75 touchdowns, which is a lot!
As a junior in baseball, he was also very good. He had a batting average of .470. This means he got a hit almost half the times he batted. He also hit eight home runs.
Dee was so talented that he planned to play both college baseball and college football. He committed to play for the Maryland Terrapins at the University of Maryland, College Park. He was even named to a special team called the ABCA/Rawlings High School All-America First Team.
Joining Major League Baseball
The Kansas City Royals noticed Dee's talent. They chose him in the first round of the 1996 Major League Baseball draft. He was the 14th player picked overall that year.
Dee played for the Royals in the major leagues from 1998 to 2004. After that, he spent some time playing for minor league teams. These are teams where players develop their skills before or after playing in the major leagues.
In 2007, Dee joined the Oakland Athletics. He played for them for part of that season. After 2007, he continued to play in the minor leagues for a few more years. In 2009, he played for the AAA Albuquerque Isotopes. He had a good year, hitting .295 with 19 home runs.
Playing in Japan
In 2010, Dee Brown moved to Japan to play baseball. He signed with the Saitama Seibu Lions in Nippon Professional Baseball. This is Japan's top baseball league. He played for the Lions in both the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
