Deering is a City in McHenry County, North Dakota, United States. In addition to homes, there are a church, a bar, a combined country store and restaurant, an auto body shop, an agricultural supplies outfit, and a set of free-standing gas pumps. The population was 94 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Minot Micropolitan Statistical Area. Deering was founded in 1903.

2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 98 people, 40 households, and 27 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,400.0 inhabitants per square mile (540.5/km2). There were 44 housing units at an average density of 628.6 per square mile (242.7/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 92.9% White, 3.1% Asian, and 4.1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.0% of the population.
There were 40 households, of which 32.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.5% were married couples living together, 10.0% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 32.5% were non-families. 27.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size was 2.96.
The median age in the city was 38.3 years. 22.4% of residents were under the age of 18; 9.2% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 27.5% were from 25 to 44; 29.6% were from 45 to 64; and 11.2% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 54.1% male and 45.9% female.
