Denman is a friendly small town in New South Wales, Australia. It is part of Muswellbrook Shire. You can find Denman on the Golden Highway in the beautiful Upper Hunter Region. It's about 250 kilometres (160 mi) north of Sydney. In 2021, about 1,547 people lived in Denman.

About Denman
Denman is located right by the Hunter River. It is also close to the amazing Wollemi National Park. The main activities here are growing grapes for wine, breeding horses, and farming.
Mount Rombo
Near Denman, you'll find Mount Rombo. This hill has a very unusual shape. If you look at it from Mangoola Road, it seems to have a perfectly flat top!
Mount Dangar
About 20 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of Denman is Mount Dangar. This mountain is 670 metres (2,200 ft) high. A surveyor named Henry Dangar first saw it in 1824. He called it Mount Cupola because it looked like a dome. Later, explorer Allan Cunningham renamed it. He was the first European to climb it the next year. Mount Dangar is a great spot for walks. It offers amazing views of the whole area.
Defence Establishment Myambat
Close to Denman, about 10 kilometers west, is the Defence Establishment Myambat. This is the Australian Defence Force's biggest place for storing military supplies.
