- Ramone "Gug" Gugleamo (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) – Gug is a short, energetic kid. He has a quick temper. He often feels left out of sports. Gug likes to pick fights with bigger kids. He even wanted to challenge Miss Kisskillya! He and Emmitt sometimes argue. But they both get annoyed with Jim.
- Duncan Bubble – Duncan is a very quiet boy. He is always playing with a yo-yo. He doesn't speak out loud. Instead, he uses his yo-yo to spell out messages. An electronic voice then reads the message. Bob Doucette, the show's creator, does this voice. Duncan is based on a deaf friend of Doucette's.
- Lemonjella and Orangejella LaBelle (voiced by Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry) – These two are identical twins. They are very smart. They have gotten into trouble by hacking school computers. They even removed library fines! Their scientific explanations can confuse others. So, they simplify them. They are also quite competitive with each other.
- Shelley Kelly (voiced by Pamelyn Ferdin) – Shelley is a very positive and cheerful girl. She always wears her Ladybug Scout uniform. She is the only student in detention who isn't there for breaking rules. She is Miss Kisskillya's assistant. Shelley tries hard to impress Miss Kisskillya. She also has a crush on Emmitt. The other kids often don't like her for this. But Shelley really wants to be their friend. Sometimes, she even helps the other kids.
The Teacher
- Eugenia P. Kisskillya (voiced by Kathleen Freeman) – Miss Kisskillya is the gym teacher. She also supervises detention. She used to be a military sergeant. Because of this, she treats the kids like soldiers. She calls people by army ranks. She often yells "dee-tennnn-shun!!" The only student she likes is Shelley Kelly. She calls Shelley "Private Kelly." Even though she can be tough, she is sometimes a nice person. Her character is inspired by Bob Doucette's grade school teacher. She is also like Sister Mary Stigmata from The Blues Brothers.
