Devils Brook is a small river, also called a tributary, that flows into the Millstone River in central New Jersey, United States. Think of it as a smaller stream that feeds into a bigger one!

Journey of Devils Brook
The Devils Brook begins its journey near exit 8A on the New Jersey Turnpike. You can find its starting point at 40°21′22″N 74°29′47″W / 40.35611°N 74.49639°W.
Flowing West
From its start, the brook flows west. It follows along Friendship Road for a while.
Through Nature's Preserve
Next, Devils Brook travels through a special place called the Plainsboro Preserve. Here, it helps to feed a marsh, which is a type of wetland with lots of grassy plants.
Joining Other Streams
As it continues, Devils Brook meets up with another stream called Shallow Brook. Shallow Brook is one of its main branches. After they join, the brook crosses Scudders Mill Road, which is also known as CR-614.
Gordon Pond and Beyond
The brook then crosses Princeton-Plainsboro Road. At this spot, the water is held back by a small dam, forming a section known as Gordon Pond. Finally, Devils Brook flows into the larger Millstone River. Its journey ends at 40°19′49″N 74°37′27″W / 40.33028°N 74.62417°W.
Easy to Explore
Devils Brook collects water from a large area in Mercer and Middlesex counties. Many smaller streams that feed into it cross roads. This makes it quite easy for people to get close to the brook and see it.
