Devin Green is a former professional basketball player from America. He was born on October 25, 1982. Devin played college basketball for the Hampton Pirates team until 2005. After college, he joined the famous Los Angeles Lakers for the 2005–2006 basketball season.

Devin Green's Basketball Journey
Devin Green was not chosen in the NBA draft after college. However, the Los Angeles Lakers signed him as a free agent. He played in 27 games during the 2005–2006 season. On October 30, 2006, the Lakers decided to let him go.
Playing in Germany
After leaving the Lakers, Devin played for the Los Angeles D-Fenders, a team in the NBDL (now called the G-League). Halfway through the 2006–2007 season, he moved to Germany. He joined a team called RheinEnergie Köln in the German Basketball League. With this team, he helped them win the 2006–2007 German National Cup. They also made it to the semi-finals of the German national championship.
More Teams and Countries
Devin Green tried to join the Miami Heat in August 2007, but he was released before the season started. In February 2008, he signed with an Italian team called Siviglia Wear Teramo.
He made another attempt to play in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs in 2008. However, he was cut from the team just a week before the regular season began. On October 31, 2008, he signed with Base Oostende, a top club in Belgium.
Summer League and Documentaries
In July 2009, Devin Green went to Las Vegas to play in the 2009 NBA Summer League. He was part of the Minnesota Timberwolves team. Devin's summer experience was even featured in a documentary called "Devin Green: The Journey."
Playing in Eastern Europe
In January 2011, Devin signed with PBC Lukoil Academic in Bulgaria. He played there for a while.
During the 2011–2012 season, Devin played for two different teams in the NBA D-League: the Erie BayHawks and the Idaho Stampede.
In the summer of 2012, Devin Green returned to PBC Lukoil Academic in Bulgaria. He was released from that team in January 2013. Later that same month, he signed with Spirou Charleroi in Belgium. He left Spirou Charleroi in March 2014.
South American Adventures
After Belgium, Devin signed with Guaros de Lara in Venezuela. He played there until April 2015.
Later Career and Achievements
In June 2019, Devin Green returned to play for the Wuhan Dangdai team in the National Basketball League in China.
Towards the end of 2019, Devin played for GS Pétroliers in the Road to BAL tournament. He helped his team win the West Division. This win allowed them to qualify for the 2021 BAL season, which is a big basketball league in Africa.
