Dhurata Dora, born Dhurata Murturi on December 24, 1992, is a talented singer and songwriter from Kosovo-Albania. She is known for her catchy pop and reggae-influenced songs. Dhurata started her music journey in 2011 and has since become a popular artist, releasing many hit songs and albums.
Dhurata Dora's Early Life and Music Journey
Dhurata Murturi was born in Nuremberg, Germany, to an Albanian family. She went to elementary school in Fürth. From a young age, she loved to sing and decided to pursue music under the name Dhurata Dora.
Her music career began in Kosovo in 2011. She released her very first song and music video, called "Vete kërkove." It was a good start, and her song became quite popular.
Rising to Fame: Early Hits
After her first success, Dhurata worked with another artist, Don Arbas, in 2012. They released a song called "Get Down," which became even more popular than her first single. The next year, in 2013, she released "I Like Dat."
In the summer of 2013, Dhurata had another big hit. She teamed up with Blunt & Real and Lumi B for the song "Edhe Pak." This collaboration helped her gain even more fans.
In November 2014, Dhurata Dora released her single "A bombi." In the spring of 2015, she started working with a production company called Max Production Albania. This helped her create more music and reach a wider audience.
International Success and Popular Collaborations
A major moment in Dhurata's career came in April 2019. She released an international hit song called "Zemër" with Algerian rapper Soolking. This song was a huge success! It reached number one in Albania and also became popular in Belgium, Switzerland, and France. In France, it was even certified platinum, which means it sold a lot of copies. By July 2022, the music video for "Zemër" had been watched over 714 million times on YouTube.
In February 2020, Dhurata Dora worked with German-Albanian rapper Azet on a German song called "Lass los." She continued to collaborate with many different artists, showing her versatility.

In March 2023, Dhurata released her album titled "Dhurata." This album features 16 original songs. Eight of these songs are collaborations with other artists, which means she worked with many different musicians on this project.
In July 2023, she released a new single called "Pa mu." This song was produced by Panda Music, and Dhurata Dora herself helped write the lyrics and melody. Also in July 2023, she collaborated with RAF Camora on a song called "Palma."
Dhurata has also worked with other international stars. In 2023, she teamed up with Romanian singer Inna and English rapper Stefflon Don for the single "Yummy." She continues to release new music and work with artists from around the world.
