Trim Ademi (born February 29, 1992), known as Capital T, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Kosovo. He grew up in Pristina and started making music early on. His uncle helped him get into rap. Capital T became very popular in the Albanian-speaking world after his first two albums, Replay (2010) and KAPO (2012), were released. Because his music was so successful, he started his own record label called Authentic Entertainment.

Capital T's Journey

Early Life and Music Start

Trim Ademi was born on February 29, 1992. He was born in Pristina, which was then part of Yugoslavia and is now in Kosovo. His father, Agim Ademi, used to be a professional football player. He is now the president of the Football Federation of Kosovo. Trim went to Asim Vokshi Elementary School. After that, he attended Sami Frashëri High School in Pristina.

Ademi began his music career in 2008. His first song was "Shopping" with 2po2. In the same year, he released "1 Mëngjes" with singer Adelina Thaqi. The next year, he released three more songs. One of these was "Shum Nalt" with 2po2 and Dafina Zeqiri. In 2010, he announced his first album, Replay, and released it later that year. He also performed the song "Diva" with Eni Koçi at Kënga Magjike. This is a popular music competition.

His second album, Kapo, came out in 2012. After that, he released a mixtape called Slumdog Millionaire in 2015. His second mixtape, Winter Is Here, was released in 2017. It was very successful in Switzerland. It reached number 69 on the Swiss Album Charts. In June 2016, he won "Video of the Year" at the Top Music Awards 2016 for his song "Hitman".

Skulpturë Album and Collaborations

In February 2019, Ademi released "Kujtime". This song reached number 22 in Albania. Other popular songs like "Hookah", "200 ditë", and "Akull" followed. "Akull" reached number two in Albania and number 64 in Switzerland. He released six songs that year. One was "Yalla" with German rapper Capital Bra. In July 2019, he worked with Albanian singer Elvana Gjata on her number one song "Fustani". In September 2019, he had his first big concert. It was called "Time Capsule" and took place in Mother Teresa Square in Tirana.

In November 2019, he announced he was working on his third album, Skulpturë. The first song from this album, "600Ps", came out in January 2020. His second song from the album, "Je t'aime", followed in February 2020. In April 2020, he released "FLEX", which was very popular. In May 2020, he released "Flawless". In June 2020, he released a song with Ledri Vula called DMP. In July 2020, Ademi released more songs from Skulpturë. These included "Money" with Jay1 and "Tu Festu".

Heartbroken Kids and Continued Success

Capital T's fourth album, Heartbroken Kids, was released on December 24, 2021. The first song from the album, "Plan", came out on December 13. It reached number 55 in Albania. His next song, "Nashta", was released on December 21. The Heartbroken Kids album has 13 songs. It features other artists like Mc Kresha, Elinel, and Marin.

Helping Others

Capital T has helped many good causes throughout his career. In March 2019, he visited the Down Syndrome Association Kosovo. He wanted to help people understand and accept those with down syndrome. In November 2019, he shared his sadness after a big earthquake hit Albania. He then visited Albania to help raise money. This money was used to rebuild and support people affected by the earthquake.

In December 2019, Ademi joined the UNDP Kosovo campaign #EcoKosovo. This campaign aimed to encourage people in Kosovo to create a healthier environment. In May 2020, he showed his support for the Black Lives Matter movement. This was connected to the wider George Floyd protests.
