Trim Ademi (born 29 February 1992), known as Capital T, is a famous Kosovo Albanian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He was born and grew up in Pristina. His uncle introduced him to music and rap when he was young. Capital T became well-known in the Albanian-speaking world after releasing his first two albums, Replay (2010) and KAPO (2012). Because his albums were so successful, he started his own music company called Authentic Entertainment.

Life and Music Career

Early Life and First Steps in Music

Trim Ademi was born on February 29, 1992. His family is Kosovo Albanian. He was born in Pristina, which was then part of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Today, Pristina is in Kosovo. His father, Agim Ademi, used to be a professional football player. He is now the president of the Football Federation of Kosovo. Trim went to elementary school and then to Sami Frashëri High School in Pristina.

Trim started his music journey in 2008. His first song was "Shopping" with 2po2. In the same year, he released another song called "1 Mëngjes" with singer Adelina Thaqi. The next year, he released three more songs. One of these was "Shum Nalt" with 2po2 and Dafina Zeqiri. In 2010, he announced his first album, Replay, and released it later that year. He also took part in a music competition called Kënga Magjike with the song "Diva" alongside Eni Koçi.

Capital T released his second album, Kapo, in 2012. After that, he released a special collection of songs called a mixtape. This mixtape was named Slumdog Millionaire and came out in 2015. His second mixtape, Winter Is Here, was released in 2017. This mixtape was very popular in Switzerland. It even reached number 69 on the Swiss Album Charts. In June 2016, he won the "Video of the Year" award at the Top Music Awards 2016. He won for his song "Hitman".

Skulpturë Album (2019–2020)

In February 2019, Trim Ademi released a song called "Kujtime". This song became very popular in Albania. Other popular songs like "Hookah", "200 ditë", and "Akull" followed that year. "Akull" reached number two in Albania and was also popular in Switzerland.

Ademi released six songs throughout 2019. One of them was "Yalla" with German rapper Capital Bra. In July 2019, he worked with Albanian singer Elvana Gjata. Their song "Fustani" became a number one hit. In September 2019, he held his first big concert. It was called "Time Capsule" and took place at Mother Teresa Square in Tirana.

In November 2019, he shared that he was working on his third album, Skulpturë. In January 2020, he released the first song from this album, "600Ps". His second song from the album, "Je t'aime", came out a month later. In April 2020, he released his third song, "FLEX", which was very successful. He released another song called "Flawless" in May 2020. In June 2020, he released a song with Ledri Vula called DMP. In July 2020, Ademi released more songs from the album. These included "Money" with Jay1 and "Tu Festu".

Heartbroken Kids and Recent Success

Ademi's fourth album, Heartbroken Kids, was released on December 24, 2021. The first song from the album, "Plan", came out on December 13. It became popular in Albania. His next song, "Nashta", was released on December 21. The Heartbroken Kids album has 13 songs. It features other artists like Mc Kresha, Elinel, and Marin.

Helping Others

Trim Ademi has helped many good causes throughout his career. In March 2019, he visited the Down Syndrome Association Kosovo. He wanted to help people understand and accept those with down syndrome. In November 2019, Ademi shared his sadness on social media after a big earthquake hit Albania. He then went to Albania to help raise money. This money was used to rebuild and support people affected by the earthquake.

In December 2019, Ademi joined a campaign called #EcoKosovo. This campaign was from the UNDP Kosovo. It aimed to encourage people in Kosovo to work for a healthier environment. In May 2020, he also showed his support for the Black Lives Matter movement. This was connected to the wider George Floyd protests.
