Diane Carol Richards (born on 6 November 1969), known as Diane Parish, is an English actress. She is most famous for playing the character Denise Fox in the BBC One TV show EastEnders. She has been in this popular soap opera since 2006.
Diane has been acting on British TV for more than 20 years. She went to a famous drama school called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. You might also know her from other TV shows like The Bill and M.I.T.: Murder Investigation Team, where she played a detective named Eva Sharpe. She also appeared in the comedy-drama Lovejoy in the 1990s.

About Diane Parish's Acting Career
After finishing her studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, Diane Parish first worked a lot in theatre. She even played a character called Cordelia in a play called King Lear in 1994.
Diane has had many different roles on television. In the show Lovejoy, she played Beth Taylor. In 1998, she had a role in EastEnders as Lola Christie, who was the girlfriend of the night cafe manager.
She also appeared in other TV dramas like The Bill and its spin-off show M.I.T.: Murder Investigation Team, where she played DC Eva Sharpe. Before these, she starred in a show called Babyfather. For her work in Babyfather, she won an award called the Royal Television Society's best actress award in 2001. She was the first black actor to win such a big award from the RTS.
Diane returned to EastEnders in May 2006, but this time she played a regular character, Denise Fox. She took a short break from the show in January 2008 to have her daughter and came back in June of that year. Diane also acted in a film called Indian Summer (also known as Alive And Kicking) in 1996, where she played Millie.

Diane Parish's family comes from the Caribbean islands of Dominica and Montserrat. She has two daughters with her former partner, Sebastian Hagemeister.
