Tameka Lydia Empson (born 15 April 1977) is a talented English actress and comedian. She became well-known for her role in the comedy show 3 Non-Blondes. Since 2009, she has played the character of Kim Fox in the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders.

Tameka Empson's Acting Journey
Tameka Empson has acted in many films and TV shows. In 1996, she was in the film Beautiful Thing. She played Leah Russell, a neighbour to the main characters. She also worked with Linda Henry in this film. Both actresses later joined the cast of EastEnders. In 1998, Tameka appeared in the film Babymother.
Theatre and Stage Work
Tameka is also a skilled theatre actress. She played Billie in the first cast of Our House. This musical featured songs by the band Madness. It opened in London in 2002. She has also been a regular performer in the annual pantomimes at the Hackney Empire theatre.

In 2008, Tameka Empson appeared in the BBC sitcom Beautiful People. She was also in the ITV thriller Whitechapel.
Her most famous role began in 2009. She joined EastEnders as Kim Fox. Kim is the half-sister of Denise Fox (played by Diane Parish). For her role as Kim, Tameka has won several awards. These include an Inside Soap award in 2012 for "Funniest Female Performance".
Tameka took time off from EastEnders for maternity leave. She returned to the show in August 2014. She took another break in 2019 for her second child. She shared this news on the TV show Loose Women. She said she wanted to enjoy her private time.
