Tameka Lydia Empson (born on April 15, 1977) is an English actress and comedian. She is well-known for her funny roles. One of her first big roles was in the comedy show 3 Non-Blondes.
Since 2009, Tameka has played the character of Kim Fox in the popular BBC TV show EastEnders. This role has made her a familiar face to many people.

Tameka Empson has worked in many areas of entertainment. She has acted in films, on television, and in theatre plays.
Early Acting Roles
In 1996, Tameka appeared in the film Beautiful Thing. She played a character named Leah Russell. Leah was the next-door neighbour to the main characters in the movie.
Tameka also worked with actress Linda Henry in this film. Later, both Tameka and Linda would join the cast of EastEnders. In 1998, Tameka was in the film Babymother.
Theatre Work
Tameka is also an experienced theatre actress. She performed as Billie in the first cast of Our House. This was a musical that used songs from the band Madness. The show started in London in October 2002.
She has also been a regular performer in the annual pantomimes at the Hackney Empire theatre. Pantomimes are fun, musical plays often performed around Christmas.
Playing Kim Fox in EastEnders
In 2008, Tameka Empson appeared in the BBC show Beautiful People. She was also in the thriller Whitechapel.
In 2009, she joined the cast of EastEnders. She took on the role of Kim Fox. Kim is the half-sister of another character, Denise Fox (played by Diane Parish).
