The show takes place about 60 years after the first 1961 movie, 101 Dalmatians. It follows a huge family of 101 Dalmatians who live at the address 101 Dalmatian Street in Camden Town, London.

What the Show is About
101 Dalmatian Street is all about a very big family of 99 Dalmatian puppies. All their names start with the letter "D"! Their parents are Doug and Delilah. Delilah is actually a great-great-granddaughter of the original Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita.
Doug and Delilah often leave their oldest kids, Dylan and Dolly, in charge. This happens when the parents are busy working for the fire department or as therapy dogs. The Dalmatians live by themselves at 101 Dalmatian Street in Camden Town, London. They don't have human grown-ups watching them. Their owner, a super-rich person named Dodie Smith, left them the house and moved to an island.

How the Show Was Made
101 Dalmatian Street started as an idea from Anttu Harlin and Joonas Utti. They worked for a company called Gigglebug Entertainment in Finland. They showed their idea to Disney's animation team in London.
The team then worked with Passion Animation Studios to create the show's story. The animation for the episodes was done by Atomic Cartoons, a studio in Canada. Gigglebug also made some short videos with the characters. All the episodes and shorts were animated using special computer software called Toon Boom Animation.
The creators of the show said they only watched the original 1961 One Hundred and One Dalmatians movie. They didn't watch the sequels or other TV shows. This helped them create a fresh new story. Sometimes, it was hard to keep track of all 99 puppies! So, in some scenes, you might see more than 101 Dalmatians.
Miklos Weigert was the main director for the series. Maria O'Loughlin was the head writer, and Cara Speller was the executive producer.
