Michelle Gomez (born November 23, 1966) is a talented actress from Scotland. She is famous for her roles in many TV shows.
She is well-known for playing Missy in the science fiction series Doctor Who. She also starred as Lilith / Madam Satan in the Netflix show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. More recently, she played Miranda Croft in The Flight Attendant on HBO Max.

Early Life and Dreams
Michelle Gomez was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Her father, Tony Gomez, was a photographer from Montserrat. Her mother, May Gomez, ran a modelling agency.
When Michelle was seven, she saw a play called Kiss Me, Kate. This made her want to become an actress. Her parents were very supportive of her dream.
She went to Shawlands Academy from 1978 to 1983. Later, she studied acting at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
Acting Career
Michelle Gomez started her acting career in the late 1990s. Her first big movie role was in The Acid House in 1998. This movie was based on short stories.
She then appeared in the TV comedy The Book Group. After that, she became well-known for playing Sue White in the comedy Green Wing. She also starred in the BBC show Carrie and Barry.
In 2012, Michelle Gomez was in the British movie The Wedding Video. She played a wedding planner. That same year, she joined the comedy series Bad Education. She played Isobel Pickwell, the deputy head teacher.
Becoming Missy in Doctor Who
From 2014 to 2017, Michelle Gomez had a big role in Doctor Who. She played a mysterious character named Missy. Later, it was revealed that Missy was actually the Master. The Master is a very old enemy of the Doctor.
Michelle Gomez was praised for her performance as Missy. She was even nominated for a BAFTA TV Award. This award is for the best supporting actress on television. She decided that the tenth series of Doctor Who would be her last as Missy.
