Diego's Life and Work
Diego de los Cobos Molina was born in a city called Úbeda in Spain. We don't know his exact birth date.
He became a bishop in 1559. On August 2, 1559, Pope Paul IV chose him to be the Bishop of Ávila. This was an important role in the church.
A year later, on September 4, 1560, another Pope, Pope Pius IV, appointed him to a new position. Diego became the Bishop of Jaén, which is another city in Spain.
He continued to serve as the Bishop of Jaén for five years. Diego de los Cobos Molina passed away in Toledo, Spain, on September 8, 1565.
