Dieudonné "Dieumerci" Mbokani Bezua (born 22 November 1985) is a professional football player from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He plays as a striker, which means he is a forward player who scores goals. He was also the captain of the DR Congo national football team.
Mbokani has played for many different football clubs throughout his career. Some of these include TP Mazembe, Anderlecht, VfL Wolfsburg, Monaco, Standard Liège, Norwich City, Hull City, Dynamo Kyiv, Al-Kuwait, and Beveren.

Club Career Highlights
Dieumerci Mbokani started his football journey at a local club called Bel'or. He quickly showed his talent, becoming the top scorer in the league in 2004 with 16 goals. After that, he moved to TP Mazembe, another club in his home country.
Playing for Anderlecht and Standard Liège
In the 2006–07 season, Mbokani played for Anderlecht on loan. He scored four goals in nine games, including three goals in one match against Beveren. In 2007, he joined Standard de Liège, where he scored 35 goals in 81 league games.
Moving to Monaco and Wolfsburg
On 30 July 2010, Mbokani signed with the French team AS Monaco. He then had a loan spell at VfL Wolfsburg in Germany in 2011.
Return to Anderlecht and Dynamo Kyiv
Later in 2011, he returned to Anderlecht. He was excited to play with his friend Milan Jovanović again. On 21 June 2013, Mbokani signed with the Ukrainian club FC Dynamo Kyiv. He scored his first goal for them in his very first game on 14 July 2013.
Playing in England
Mbokani was loaned to the English club Norwich City on 31 August 2015. The next year, on 31 August 2016, he was loaned to another English team, Hull City. He made his first appearance for Hull City on 17 September 2016.
Later Career Clubs
In August 2018, Mbokani signed a one-year contract with the Belgian club Royal Antwerp. He played there for several years, extending his contract in June 2019. More recently, on 14 August 2023, Armenian Premier League club Noah announced that Mbokani had joined their team.
International Career
Dieumerci Mbokani has proudly represented the DR Congo in many international matches. He played in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013 and 2015. In the 2015 tournament, he helped his team win third place.
In 2016, Mbokani was in Brussels during the 2016 Brussels bombings. He and his teammate Cédric Bakambu were unharmed but were very shaken by the event. After this, he briefly retired from international football. However, he returned to the DR Congo squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and was called up again in March 2019.

Dieumerci Mbokani was born in Kinshasa, which is in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. His first name, "Dieumerci," means "Thank God" in French.
