Dina (Urdu: دینہ) is a busy and growing town in the Jhelum District of Punjab, Pakistan. It's about 10 miles northwest of Jhelum City. Here, a road connects to the famous Mangla Dam and Rohtas Fort. The old and important Grand Trunk Road goes right through the middle of Dina.

How Dina is Governed
In 1977, Dina got its own local government, called a municipal committee. Later, it became a special area called a tehsil within the Jhelum District. This means it's a smaller administrative division.
The town is split into two smaller areas for local management, called Union Councils. These are UC 23 and UC 24.

Dina is found at coordinates 33°1'60N and 73°35'60E. It sits about 275 metres (905 feet) above sea level. The total area of Dina is around 21,880 acres, which is about 88.5 square kilometres.
