This division was created in 2010. It covers a large area of land inland from the Gold Coast. Some of the towns you'll find here include Beaudesert and Boonah.
The name "Wright" comes from a famous Australian poet, Judith Wright (1915-2000). She was a very important writer who lived in this region.
