Dominic Rashad McGuire (born October 20, 1985) is an American professional basketball player. He has played for many teams around the world, including several in the NBA. McGuire is known for playing as a Small forward or power forward.

Dominic McGuire: A Basketball Journey
Early Life and College Basketball
Dominic McGuire grew up in San Diego, California. He played high school basketball at Lincoln High School in San Diego.
After high school, McGuire went to the University of California, Berkeley. There, he played college basketball for the Cal Golden Bears. He was one of their top scorers during the 2004–05 season.
Later, he transferred to California State University, Fresno. He then played for the Fresno State Bulldogs.
Playing in the NBA
Dominic McGuire was chosen in the 2007 NBA draft. The Washington Wizards picked him as the 47th player overall. He signed a three-year deal with them in August 2007. McGuire got his first start in an NBA game in April 2008.
Sacramento Kings (2010)
In February 2010, McGuire was traded to the Sacramento Kings.
Charlotte Bobcats (2010–2011)
He joined the Charlotte Bobcats in July 2010. He left the team briefly in February 2011 but re-signed with them in March 2011.
Golden State Warriors (2011–2012)
In December 2011, McGuire signed with the Golden State Warriors.
Toronto Raptors (2012)
He then signed with the Toronto Raptors in September 2012. He was later released from the team in November 2012.
New Orleans Hornets (2012–2013)
In December 2012, McGuire joined the New Orleans Hornets. He was released by the Hornets in January 2013.
Indiana Pacers (2013)
McGuire signed a short-term contract with the Indiana Pacers in January 2013. He signed a second short-term contract later that month.
Utah Jazz (2013)
He signed with the Utah Jazz in September 2013. However, he was released by the Jazz in October.
