Donkey Kong Barrel Blast is an exciting racing video game for the Wii console. In Europe and Australia, it's known as Donkey Kong Jet Race. In Japan, its name is Donkey Kong Barrel Jet Race.
This game was released in Japan on June 28, 2007. Players in North America got to play it starting October 8, 2007. It came out in Europe on January 25, 2008, and in Australia on February 7, 2008. The game was first planned for the Nintendo GameCube. It was even going to use the DK Bongos for controls. However, plans changed, and it was moved to the Wii.
How to Play Donkey Kong Barrel Blast
Donkey Kong Barrel Blast is a racing game where you control your character. You use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to play. To make your character move forward, you shake both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. If you want to jump, you lift both controllers at the same time.
You can also use the controllers' motion sensor features. These help you beat your opponents and use special items during the race. The main way to play is called Grand Prix. This is similar to the racing tournaments you might know from the Mario Kart games. There's also a Time Trial mode. In this mode, you can race on any track by yourself without other racers. It's great for practicing and trying to get your best time!
