After college, Dont'e Deayon entered the NFL without being drafted by a team. This means he was a "free agent" and could sign with any team.

Playing for the New York Giants

Deayon signed with the New York Giants in May 2016. He spent time on the team's practice squad, which is a group of players who train with the main team but are not on the active roster. Players on the practice squad can be called up to play in games if needed.

In October 2017, he was moved to the Giants' active roster, meaning he could play in official games. However, his season was cut short when he suffered a fractured forearm injury in November 2017. He was later waived by the Giants in October 2018.

Playing for the Los Angeles Rams

In December 2018, Deayon joined the Los Angeles Rams practice squad. He worked hard and eventually earned a spot on the Rams' active roster in November 2019.

In 2020, Deayon signed a new contract with the Rams. He was even featured on the TV show Hard Knocks, which shows what life is like for NFL players during training camp.

He continued to move between the practice squad and the active roster. In 2021, Deayon was promoted to the active roster again. That year, he achieved a major goal: he won Super Bowl LVI with the Rams! They defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in an exciting championship game.
