Doom Mountain is a mountain located on the Brooks Peninsula. This peninsula is found on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Why is it Called Doom Mountain?
This mountain got its unique name from Dr. Richard Hebda. He works at the Royal British Columbia Museum. He chose the name because the mountain often looks a bit scary. It has very steep cliffs. Also, its top is almost always covered in clouds. This happens even when the rest of the area is sunny and clear.
