Nadiia Volodymyrivna Dorofieieva (Ukrainian: Надія Володимирівна Дорофєєва), known as DOROFEEVA, is a popular Ukrainian pop singer. She is also a fashion designer, blogger, and actress. Before starting her solo career, she was part of the pop duo Vremya i Steklo.

Early Life and Talents
Nadiia Dorofieieva was born on April 21, 1990, in Simferopol, Ukraine. From a very young age, Nadiia loved music and dancing. When she was 12, in 2002, she became the regional champion in ballroom dancing. She was named the best ballroom dancer in her home region of Crimea.
In 2005, after finishing ninth grade, Nadiia moved to Moscow. There, she began studying singing at the Moscow State Art and Cultural University.
Music Career Journey
Starting Out: 2002-2009
Nadiia first became known by taking part in many music competitions. In 2004, she won first prize at the "Black Sea Games" children's singing competition in Skadovsk. In 2005, she appeared on the Ukrainian TV show Chance.
While living in Moscow, Nadiia was part of a girl group called МЧС from 2005 to 2007. They recorded an album and performed on Russian TV. Later, Nadiia joined another TV show called American Chance. She was chosen to be one of five singers in a girl band named Glam. However, due to money problems in 2008, the project stopped.
After this, Nadiia started her own solo music project called Markiza. She released a solo album under this name in 2008. Her style was similar to pop rock artists like Avril Lavigne.
Becoming Famous with Vremya i Steklo: 2010-2020

In 2010, Nadiia became the female singer for the duo Vremya i Steklo. Her partner was rapper Oleksiy Zavgorodniy. The famous producer Potap created the group. Nadiia then moved back to Kyiv. Their first song came out in December 2010.
The group became very popular in 2015 with their song "Imya 505". This song became a huge hit, especially in Russia. It quickly became one of the most-watched Russian-language songs on YouTube. Their music videos helped them become even more famous.
As the group grew in popularity, Nadiia became a well-known influencer. In 2016, she started her own clothing line. A year later, she began making videos for her YouTube channel, DoDo Vlog. It quickly became one of the most-followed channels in Ukraine. In 2018, Nadiia and Oleksiy Zavgorodniy lent their voices to characters in the Ukrainian animated film "The Stolen Princess".
Nadiia also appeared on several Ukrainian TV shows. In 2017, she took part in "Tantsi z zirkamy" (Dancing with the Stars). After that, she became a coach on "Holos. Dity" (The Voice Kids) with her bandmate Positiff. In 2018, Nadiia became a judge on the TV show "Liha smikhu" (League of Laughter).
Solo Success: 2020-Present
In November 2020, Nadiia Dorofieieva announced she was starting her solo career. The duo "Vremya i Steklo" had broken up. On November 20, she released her first solo song as DOROFEEVA, called "gorit". It quickly became a big hit. The music video had over two million views on YouTube in less than a week.
In spring 2021, Dorofeeva released her first EP (a mini-album) called "dofamin". It included songs like "a tebe" and "bam bam".
After the events of 2022 in Ukraine, she started singing in Ukrainian. She also changed her artistic style. She took part in the GIDNA project, which supports Ukraine. In 2022, she released the song "Dumy" with Artem Pyvovarov. This song became a symbol of support for Ukraine. In the same year, she released her album "Sensi". Her latest album, Heartbeat, was released in 2024.
