Doron Emmanuel Calvin Lamb, born on November 6, 1991, is an American professional basketball player. He is known for his skills as a shooting guard. Currently, he plays for UEB Gesteco Cividale in Italy's Serie A2 league. Before turning professional, he played college basketball for the University of Kentucky.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Doron Lamb was born in Queens, New York. He attended Oak Hill Academy, a famous high school for basketball players. In his final year of high school, Doron was an amazing player. He averaged 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists per game.
His excellent performance earned him special honors. He was chosen for the McDonald's All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic. Experts at Rivals.com thought he was a top player. They ranked him as the third-best shooting guard and the 21st best player in the nation in 2010.
College Basketball Career
Doron Lamb decided to play college basketball at the University of Kentucky. This is a very well-known team.
Freshman Year Success
In his first year, the Kentucky Wildcats team made it to the NCAA Final Four. This is a huge achievement in college basketball. They played a very close game against the University of Connecticut Huskies. Unfortunately, they lost by just one point.
Winning the NCAA Championship
His second year at Kentucky was even more successful. The Wildcats had an incredible season, winning 38 games and losing only 2. This led them to win the 2012 NCAA Championship! Doron was a key player, especially known for his excellent three-point shooting. He made over 46% of his three-point shots in both college seasons. In the 2012 national championship game against Kansas, Doron scored a game-high 22 points. This helped Kentucky win their eighth NCAA championship.
Professional Basketball Journey
After his successful college career, Doron Lamb decided to join the NBA.
Starting in the NBA
In April 2012, Doron entered the 2012 NBA draft. He was picked by the Milwaukee Bucks as the 42nd overall player. In July 2012, he signed his first professional contract with the Bucks. During his time with the Bucks, he also spent some time playing for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA D-League. This is a league where players can develop their skills.
Moving to Orlando
In February 2013, Doron was traded to the Orlando Magic. He played for the Magic until June 2014. After leaving the Magic, he signed with the Dallas Mavericks briefly in September 2014. He then played for the Texas Legends, an affiliate team of the Mavericks.
Playing in the G-League
In February 2015, Doron was traded to the Westchester Knicks. This team is part of the NBA G-League, which is now called the NBA G League. He had a wrist injury that ended his 2014–15 season early. He later rejoined the Westchester Knicks in November 2016.

Doron Lamb has also played basketball in many different countries around the world.
