Economy and Jobs
Dorotea Municipality is home to some interesting businesses. One of the biggest companies there makes caravans. Caravans are like small homes on wheels that people use for camping trips. This company was once called Polarvagnen and is now known as SoliferPolar.
Other important companies in the area include Dorocell, Svenska Tält, and S-Karosser. In recent years, some IT companies have also moved to Dorotea. For example, the company Spray was once located here. Later, Datakompisen took over the building where Spray's support team worked.
Sister Cities
Dorotea Municipality has a special friendship with another town. This is called a "twinning" or "sister city" relationship.
