Doug McHenry went to Stanford University. He graduated in 1973 with a degree in economics. After that, he continued his studies. He attended both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. This strong education helped him prepare for a career in the film industry.
Starting in the Film World
After finishing his studies, Doug McHenry began working in movies. He worked for a film producer named Peter Guber. This was at a company called Casablanca Records. Doug helped with the business side of making films. He also worked as a production executive. This means he helped manage how movies were made.
