Dragon is a fun stop-motion children's TV show from Canada and the United States. It is based on the popular books by Dav Pilkey. He is also the author of the best-selling Captain Underpants series. The show first started airing in Canada on January 5, 2004.
The series uses claymation, a cool type of stop-motion animation. It follows a friendly blue dragon and his adventures. Dragon has a unique way of looking at life. This often leads to fun and kid-friendly situations.
Each episode is divided into short parts. This helps kids understand and learn from each story. Frank Meschkuleit does all the character voices. He is also the narrator for every story.

Main Characters
Dragon
Dragon is the main character of the show. He is a happy blue dragon who loves to giggle. No matter what happens, Dragon always sees the bright side of things. He is a bit clumsy but always has a giant, friendly grin. Dragon is curious about everything around him. He will follow his nose wherever it leads him. He is happy and always ready to help. Even when things get messy, Dragon stays calm. He believes that if you take life one step at a time, there is nothing to be afraid of.
Cat
Cat is Dragon's feline friend. Unlike Dragon's other friends, Cat acts like a typical cat. She visits Dragon from time to time. She will happily join him for a while. But she only stays as long as she is interested. Then, she goes off to find her own adventures. Cat is satisfied and loves herself. She is very picky about her meals. She does not worry much about the world. She loves to stretch out and take long naps.
Beaver
Beaver is a busy and curious friend. He likes to keep active. Most of the time, he is doing chores. He is often rebuilding his home. He might grumble to himself while he works. For Beaver, life is not always easy. He is always looking for a better and faster way to get things done. But his quick work often means he has to fix things later. Beaver is curious and sometimes grumpy. He is always thinking about how and why things are done.
Mail Mouse
Mail Mouse is a reliable and brave mouse. She loves her job very much. She is shown to be very good at delivering mail. Sometimes, she delivers mail by hand. Other times, she leaves it at the mailbox. Either way, she is quick and dependable. She is also a lot of fun to be around. Mail Mouse has strong opinions. She is always willing to help. She gives good advice without being pushy. That is why her friends like her so much.
Ostrich
Ostrich is a unique and wonderful bird. She runs a general store. Ostrich is always busy with something. She is good at business and manages her own shop. You might also see her cleaning the streets. She even works as the village doctor sometimes. Ostrich tries very hard to be a superhero. She is determined to rescue people. She will help them whether they need rescuing or not. She even has her own superhero yodel and dance.
Alligator
Alligator is a quirky and creative friend. He never worries about finding a solution. His only solution is not to worry at all. For Alligator, life is a journey. He enjoys every moment of it. He is quirky, creative, and loved by everyone. Alligator even has his own special way of talking. He says, "Hidy-ho, little blue dude!" to Dragon. There is one thing Alligator loves more than anything else. He just cannot stop dancing, playing the bongos, and making lots of noise.
