Dragon is a fun stop-motion children's TV show from Canada and the United States. It is based on the popular books by Dav Pilkey. He is also the author of the best-selling Captain Underpants series. The show first started airing in Canada on January 5, 2004.

The series uses claymation, a cool type of stop-motion animation. It follows a friendly blue dragon and his adventures. Dragon has a unique way of looking at life. This often leads to fun and kid-friendly situations.

Each episode is divided into short parts. This helps kids understand and learn from each story. Frank Meschkuleit does all the character voices. He is also the narrator for every story.

Dragon's best friends include Cat, Mailmouse, Alligator, Beaver, and Ostrich. They love to play games, search for treasure, or set up parties. Dragon and his friends always work together. They make every day special and sunny.

The show has a calm and steady pace. There are not many quick scene changes or loud sounds. This helps young children understand what they are watching. The charming stories explore themes that all kids can relate to. These include friendship, being brave, and trying new things.
