Dragonology on the Big Screen
The Dragonology book series has caught the eye of Hollywood!
In 2008, Universal Studios bought the rights to make movies based on the Dragonology series. Later, in 2012, it was announced that Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci would produce the Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons movie for Universal. They planned to bring in a new writer for the script.
Then, in 2018, Paramount Pictures took over the rights. They acquired Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons and the rest of the Ology series. Paramount hired Akiva Goldsman to lead a team of writers. Their goal is to create a series of connected family movies based on these popular books.
