Early life
Drew Scott was born on April 28, 1978, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is the youngest of three brothers. His older brother is James, and his identical twin, Jonathan, was born just four minutes before him! Their parents, Jim and Joanne Scott, were surprised to have twins.
Their father, Jim, came from Scotland. He used to work in the film industry as an actor and stuntman. Later, he decided to focus on his family. They moved to a horse farm in Maple Ridge.
Drew's father encouraged the boys to get jobs when they were seven. So, they started their first business called JAM. They made hangers covered in nylon and sold them door-to-door. They even got a big order from a woman who sold American items in Japan!
Their older brother, James, often renovated their family homes. He would pay Drew and Jonathan to help build and fix things like fences and barns. Even as kids, the twins loved to rearrange furniture in their house. When they were teenagers, they went to Thomas Haney Secondary School. Drew was great at sports, playing and coaching basketball and volleyball.
