Duane Henry (born March 18, 1985) is an actor from England. He is best known for playing Clayton Reeves in the TV show NCIS. He also played Gareth Broadhurst in the show Doctors. Duane Henry lives in Los Angeles, California today.

Early Life and Education
Duane Henry was born in Birmingham, England. He grew up in Handsworth, a working-class area. As a child, he went to St. Francis Catholic Primary School. He also attended St. John Wall School in Handsworth. Later, he studied drama at Dudley College.
When he was 17, Henry moved to London. He wanted to start a career in acting and entertainment.
Acting Career Highlights
Duane Henry began acting in 2004. His first role was in a British TV show called The Afternoon Play. From 2004 to 2011, he appeared in many popular British TV dramas. These included Doctor Who, The Bill, and The Cut. In 2010, he was nominated for a BAFTA Screen National Award. This award was for Best Emerging Talent.
Roles in British Television
From 2005 to 2013, Henry played five different characters on the British medical show Doctors. This show is set in Birmingham, his hometown. In 2013, he played Gareth Broadhurst. This character was a former soldier with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). Henry believes his Birmingham background helped him get roles on Doctors.
In 2011, Henry also appeared in the movie W.E.. This film was directed by the famous singer Madonna. He played a security guard in the movie.
Moving to Los Angeles
In November 2013, Duane Henry moved from London to Los Angeles. He spent a year working on his American accent. This helped him get more types of acting roles. He auditioned for many shows, including Shades of Blue with Jennifer Lopez.
Joining the NCIS Cast
Duane Henry joined the NCIS cast in May 2016. He played Clayton Reeves, an agent from MI6 (British Secret Intelligence Service). He appeared in the last two episodes of the show's 13th season.
In July 2016, it was announced that Henry would become a regular cast member. His character, Clayton Reeves, became a main part of the show starting in its 14th season. This season began airing on September 20, 2016. Henry shared that he added parts of his own upbringing in Birmingham to his character's story.
Henry left NCIS in 2018, during the 15th season. His character, Clayton Reeves, was written out of the show. Henry explained that after the show's creator, Gary Glasberg, passed away, they were unsure how to develop his character further. So, they decided to end his character's story.
Personal Life and Inspirations
Duane Henry faced challenges growing up. For a time, he was homeless. His mother was a single parent at 16. He later lived with his aunt. He worked various jobs, like selling shoes. He also worked in a theater, but he was fired for daydreaming. Henry did not know his father. He says his difficult childhood in Birmingham pushed him to work harder. It showed him what he wanted to achieve in life.
Henry has said that if he were not an actor, he would still be involved in the arts. He might teach drama to young people or work as a talent scout. When asked what inspires him, Henry looks at the struggles of people around him. He sees them keep going and smiling, and that inspires him to "keep on going" too.
