The Durham TurfDogs were a professional indoor lacrosse team from Canada. They played in a league called the Canadian Lacrosse League. The TurfDogs, along with another team called the Oshawa Machine, played their games at the GM Centre in Oshawa, Ontario. The team was active from 2011 to 2016.

The Team's Story
The TurfDogs played their very first game on January 7, 2012. This game took place in Hagersville, Ontario. They lost that first game to the Peel Avengers with a score of 16-9.

Winning the Creator's Cup
In their final season, 2016, the Durham TurfDogs had a great year. They finished second in the league. They won their semi-final playoff game against the Barrie Blizzard by a score of 13-12. Then, they went on to win the Creator's Cup, which is the championship trophy. They beat the Ohsweken Demons 11-9 in the final game.
