The Ohsweken Demons were a professional indoor lacrosse team from Canada. They played in the Canadian Lacrosse League. The Demons played their home games at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. This arena is located in Hagersville, Ontario. The team stopped playing in 2016.

History of the Ohsweken Demons
The Ohsweken Demons played their very first game on January 7, 2012. This game took place at their home arena in Hagersville, Ontario. The Demons won their first game against the Oshawa Machine. The final score was 19 to 13.
Winning the Creators' Cup
In 2012, the Ohsweken Demons finished their regular season with a good record. They won 8 games and lost 6. This placed them third in the Canadian Lacrosse League standings. In the first round of the playoffs, the Demons played against the Brampton Inferno. Both teams had the same record that season. Chris Attwood scored the winning goal for Ohsweken. They won the game 17 to 16.
After that win, the Demons moved on to the Creators' Cup championship. They faced the Iroquois Ironmen in an all-native team match-up. The Ohsweken Demons won the championship game 15 to 10. This made them the first-ever Creators' Cup Champions!
Star Players and Awards
Many players from the 2012 Ohsweken Demons team were recognized for their great play. They received awards in the first season of the Canadian Lacrosse League.
- Goalie Jeff Powless was named the CLax Goaltender of the Year. He was also chosen for the All-CLax First Team.
- Chris Attwood was a top player. He was named the Offensive Player of the Year. He also won the league's Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. Chris was also selected for the All-CLax First Team.
- Clay Hill was another important player. He had played for the Buffalo Bandits in the National Lacrosse League before. Clay was named to the All-CLax Second Team.
