About Dwayne Provo
Dwayne grew up in North Preston, Nova Scotia. This is one of Canada's largest Black communities. He went to Saint Mary's University. There, he played Canadian football. In 1995, the Saskatchewan Roughriders picked him to play for their team. This is called being "drafted."

He ran as a candidate for the Progressive Conservative party. He ran in the area called Preston. He did not win the elections, but he came in second and third place.
Dwayne has some famous family members too. His cousin, Kirk Johnson, is a boxer. Another cousin, Evander Kane, is a hockey player.
