East Charlotte is a small community in the state of Vermont, United States. It is part of the larger town of Charlotte. East Charlotte is known as an "unincorporated village." This means it's a recognized community but doesn't have its own separate local government like a city or town.

East Charlotte is found in the southwestern part of Chittenden County. This county is in the beautiful state of Vermont. The community is located in the eastern section of the town of Charlotte.
You can find East Charlotte where Hinesburg Road and Spear Street meet. It's about 3 miles (4.8 km) east of West Charlotte. It is also about 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Hinesburg. Shelburne is about 5 miles (8 km) to the north.
