About the East Two River
The East Two River is an important waterway in St. Louis County. It helps carry water across the landscape. Rivers like this are vital for local plants and animals. They also play a role in the bigger water systems.
Where the River Starts
This river begins its journey in the city of Virginia. It starts at a place called Silver Lake. Imagine water flowing out of a lake to begin a long trip! This is where the East Two River gets its start.
The River's Journey
From Silver Lake, the East Two River flows mainly towards the southwest. It winds its way through the land. After traveling for about 25 miles, it reaches its destination.
Where it Joins Another River
The East Two River eventually meets up with the Saint Louis River. This meeting point is in a place called McDavitt Township. It joins the Saint Louis River just before another river, the West Two River, also flows in. This shows how many rivers connect to form larger systems.
