Eaux-Bonnes (pronounced "oh-bon") is a small town in south-western France. Its name means "good waters" in French. It is located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques area, which is a department (like a county) in France.

Eaux-Bonnes is a charming place found near the town of Laruns. It sits high up in the mountains, about 750 meters (2,460 feet) above sea level. The town is at the start of a beautiful valley, where two rivers meet.

People have known about the special waters of Eaux-Bonnes since the mid-1300s. These waters are used in a spa, a place where people go to relax and get treatments using natural spring water. Another spa, called Eaux-Chaudes, is just 5 kilometers (3 miles) away.

The area around Eaux-Bonnes is famous for its stunning mountain views. You can see the impressive Pic de Ger mountain nearby. The weather here is a "mountain climate," meaning it has cooler temperatures and more snow in winter, perfect for mountain activities.
