Edson Stroll (born January 6, 1929 – died July 18, 2011) was an American actor. He appeared in more than 20 movies and TV shows. His acting career started in 1958.

Edson Stroll's Early Life and Career
Edson Stroll was born in Chicago, Illinois. In the late 1940s, he joined the United States Navy. After that, in the 1950s, he started working as a bodybuilder.
Edson loved performing. He studied acting and singing in New York City. He even won a special scholarship called a Fulbright Scholarship for his singing. Later, he got a contract with the National Broadcasting Company. This helped him to perform and study more.
Acting Roles in TV and Movies
From 1958, Edson Stroll started getting small parts on TV shows. These included How to Marry a Millionaire and Sea Hunt. He also appeared in two episodes of The Twilight Zone. These episodes were "Eye of the Beholder" (1960) and "The Trade-Ins" (1962).
In 1960, he played a character named "Dynamite" in the Elvis Presley movie G.I. Blues. Later, he got a regular role on the TV show McHale's Navy. On that show, he played Virgil Edwards.
Working with The Three Stooges
Many fans of the comedy group The Three Stooges remember Edson Stroll. He acted in two of their movies in the 1960s. These films were Snow White and the Three Stooges and The Three Stooges in Orbit.
Later Years and Other Work
In the 2000s, Edson Stroll often did voice-overs for different projects. He also sometimes met fans at autograph signing events in Southern California. He lived near Marina del Rey.
Besides acting, Edson Stroll was also a licensed ship's captain. He was also a marine surveyor. This means he could inspect ships.
Edson Stroll's Passing
Edson Stroll died on July 18, 2011. He was eighty-two years old. He passed away from cancer. His body was cremated after his death.
