Edwardsport is a small town in Knox County, Indiana, United States. It is located within Vigo Township. In 2010, the town had a population of 303 people. Edwardsport was founded in 1832. It was named after Edward Wilkins, who was one of the people who helped start the town.

Edwardsport Power Station
Just south of Edwardsport is the Edwardsport Power Station. This plant helps provide electricity to the area.
The power plant used to have two units that could produce 160 megawatts of power. A megawatt is a very large unit of power. In 2005, a report said this plant was one of the most polluting power stations. It produced a lot of carbon dioxide for the amount of electricity it made.
A new, larger unit was built. This new unit uses a special technology called IGCC. It can produce 600 megawatts of power. When this new unit opened in 2011, the older, smaller units were shut down.
