Ekaterina Selezneva (born May 18, 1995) is a famous Russian rhythmic gymnast. She is known for her amazing performances with different tools like the hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon.

Ekaterina became a world champion in 2019, winning a gold medal with the hoop at the World Championships. She also won the All-Around gold medal at the 2019 Summer Universiade. This means she was the best overall gymnast at that event!

Ekaterina has been a part of the Russian national team since 2013. She has achieved many great things in her career.

Starting Strong: 2013-2015 Seasons

In 2013, Ekaterina started to make a name for herself in Russia. She won a bronze medal with the hoop at the Russian Cup and the Russian Championships. This led to her joining the Russian National Team.

In 2014, she won a gold medal with the clubs at the Russian Championships. She even competed in Italy's Serie A club championship. The next year, in 2015, she finished 4th overall at the Russian Championships. She also won a gold medal with the ribbon.

Continued Success: 2016-2017 Seasons

Ekaterina continued to shine in 2016. She won the all-around gold medal at the Alina Cup in Moscow. She also placed 6th overall at the Russian Championships.
