Electric Gardens was a special music festival held in Kent, England. It was also known as Electric Gardens Festival, EGFestival, EGFest, or simply EG. This festival was a "boutique" event, meaning it was smaller and more focused than very large festivals. It took place at Mount Ephraim Gardens in Faversham.
The festival happened on a weekend in early August for two years: 2006 and 2007. Music fans could enjoy different types of music, including rock, punk, indie, and dance music.
Why Did Electric Gardens Stop?
The Electric Gardens festival did not happen in 2008. This was because of unexpected problems. In February 2008, one of the main people organizing the event became very ill. Because this key organizer could not work, the festival team had to cancel the event.
The Myspace Bus Experience
At the festival, there was a special bus provided by Myspace. This bus was parked on the festival grounds. It was a cool place where you could meet some of the artists and bands performing at the festival. You could also get free gifts and information inside the Myspace Bus.
