About Elena Odriozola
Elena Odriozola was born in San Sebastián, a city in Spain. She loves painting, a passion she learned from her grandfather and father.
She studied Art and Decoration. Before becoming an illustrator, she worked at an advertising agency.
In 1995, Elena illustrated her first children's book. It was called Agure jakagorria and was written by Jesus Mari Olaizola "Txiliku".
Since 1997, she has worked mainly as a book illustrator. She is now a very successful artist in children's and young people's books. Her artwork is loved around the world. Her books have been translated into many languages. She is also often chosen to show her work in important art exhibitions.
