Baroness Elizabeth-Ann de Massy Noghès (born January 13, 1947 – died June 10, 2020) was an important person from Monaco. She was the daughter of Princess Antoinette of Monaco and Alexandre-Athenase Noghès.
Her Life Story
Elizabeth-Ann de Massy was a first cousin of the current ruler of Monaco, Prince Albert II. She was also the niece of Prince Rainier III. She was the godmother to Princess Stéphanie of Monaco.
When Elizabeth-Ann was born, her parents were not yet married. However, they got married in 1951. This marriage meant that she could be in the line to become the ruler of Monaco. Later, when Prince Rainier III passed away, she was no longer in the line of succession to the throne.
What She Did
Elizabeth-Ann de Massy was very involved in sports in Monaco. She was the President of the Monegasque Tennis Federation. She also led the Monte Carlo Country Club.
Elizabeth-Ann de Massy passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 73.
